Monique won Best Supporting Actress at the 2010 Oscars. In early December she was in the movie Precious and she did a excellent job. She played a mother that abused her daughter and blamed her daughter for everything. She really made the movie flow with everything. That movie actually a few awards and really was a surprise at the Oscars.
