Big Upset!!!!

The Kansas Jayhawks, supposedly the best team in college basketball, were shocked the other night when Northern Iowa beat. Kansas was picked to when the national championship by many sports writer and sports experts. I had them picked to when on my bracket and they totally messed that up. Kansas for the third time in four years were a #1 seed and lost in the tournament. So since the big upset eyes have been opened and teams are now looking out for Northern Iowa.

Monique wins Best Supporting Actress at Oscars

Monique won Best Supporting Actress at the 2010 Oscars. In early December she was in the movie Precious and she did a excellent job. She played a mother that abused her daughter and blamed her daughter for everything. She really made the movie flow with everything. That movie actually a few awards and really was a surprise at the Oscars.

T.O is a Free Agent

Terrell Owens is a free agent again. Terrell Owens is one of the greatest wide receivers ever to play in the N.F.L but his attitude in the past is now catching up with him. A lot of teams are looking back on his past and they really don't want to deal with him. He has a lot of talent but nobody wants to deal with him. Hopefully he finds a new teams but its not looking good for T.O.

SHAQ!!!!!!!

Shaq is one of the best centers to ever play basketball. He has a number of championships and has been on the allstar a lot of times also. But I have been noticing that he is always injured. The other night Shaq jammed his thumb. Finger jams happen all the time in basketball but now he has to sit 2 months because he needs to have surgery. To me he needs to go ahead and hang up the shoes.

Tiger Woods!!!!

Tiger Woods gave a speech the other day to ESPN. He was talking about he needed help because he has a sex problem. I think the speech was great and he was really sincere about what he was saying. They should just leave Tiger alone and let him deal with his problems because he really doesn't deserve the abuse he is taking from the public. .

Superbowl CHAMPS!!!

The New Orleans Saints have finally won a superbowl. This was the first time ever that the Saints went to the superbowl and now they are the champs. After hurricanes Katrina that city was torn to pieces. This superbowl was meant to be for the New Orlean Saints. The Saints were the underdogs and came back and upset the Colts. After the game everyone was crying and very emotional because the city was uplifted by the victory.

Serena Williams Does it Again!!!!!

Throughtout her great career Serena Williams has dominated womans tennis. Just the other day she won the Australian Open against Justine Henin in 3 sets. She also won the doubles match with her sister for the second year in a row. When you think about womens tennis Serena Williams should be the first name that comes to mind. Not only is she dominating but plays injured most of the time. Their have many great tennis athletes but when its all said and done I think Serena Williams will be the best womans tennis player ever. -Taylon Wilcox-
